九三爻,旅人在旅途中所居住的旅舍被焚毁,旅人的童仆也丢失了,在危险中也应坚守旅行正道。
The third nine, undivided: The wanderer's inn is burned, and he loses his young servant. Perseverance brings danger.

九四,旅于处,得其资斧,我心不快。
九四爻,旅人在其住处,找回了他的钱财,但旅人心里仍然快乐不起来。
The fourth nine, undivided: The wanderer rests in a place, and gains his wealth and axe. But my heart is not glad.
The fourth nine line: The wanderer finds his lodging and recovers his money, but his heart is still not joyful.
六五,射雉,一矢亡,终以誉命。
六五爻,射取野鸡,只用了一支箭就射中了,终将获得美誉和任命。
The fifth six, divided: He shoots a pheasant; one arrow is lost. In the end, he receives praise and a command.

上九,鸟焚其巢,旅人先笑后号咷。丧牛于易,凶。
上九爻,鸟儿因自己不谨慎,鸟巢被焚毁;旅人先欢笑,后来号啕大哭,旅人在有易这个地方丢失了牛群,凶险。
